Art of Safari

A new luxury tourism business specialising in bespoke African safaris, Art of Safari selected Kri8it to help launch their brand digitally. Our first challenge was to design their corporate identity. After long hours of research and development, we developed a logo that is both premium and authentic, setting this unique brand above the status quo.


Next, we developed an engaging and user-friendly website that helps to generate demand for their offering by educating the market and drawing them seamlessly through the funnel. We adopted a ‘mobile-first’ approach to ensure that usability, design and content functioned effortlessly on all devices.


Driven by a love for technology, Syntech sources industry-leading tech products from around the world and distributes these throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. As their business has grown, their target market has diversified and expanded – and they briefed us to re-calibrate their existing website and e-commerce platform to create a more personalised and streamlined user journey for each customer segment.

To this end, we conducted a thorough UX review of their platform and used this to develop an updated site and shop.  Now, the website offers better utility by displaying relevant content to the identifiable personas based on user data and activity tracking – guiding them through the funnel more effectively. Now the user only sees content and products that are relevant to their industry or area of interest.


Personalised, waterproof scholastic labels are the solution to lost lunchboxes, missing school jerseys and general classroom confusion. MyTowerLabels gave Kri8it the mandate to develop their website, which makes it really easy for moms and dads to design and pay for their labels online.


We built the system on a WooCommerce platform to handle two purchase options – users can either buy the labels directly online or pay for the label packs in-store and then design and redeem them online using a coupon system. Once parents have personalised their labels, they can preview them before they purchase. The packs are then delivered direct to their door. We will soon be launching an integrated courier shipping solution that allows users to track their orders with regular correspondence keeping customers informed on the status of their order and delivery.

Cell C Day Of Races powered by Reebok

Kri8it collaborated with sports marketing agency Stillwater Sports to launch an exciting new race event that brings the timed 5km road race to South Africa. The Cell C Day Of Races powered by Reebok needed a theme, a logo, a website and a social media presence – all of which Kri8it handled.



We developed a logo that echoes the fresh, fun feel of the brand while also being true to the Cell C corporate identity; and then developed a theme for the inaugural event: Find Your Fit – which is all about celebrating fitness, fun, friends and fitting in. Next, we built the event website, opting for a clean, modern, one-pager on WordPress using a DMS Child theme. All the information is in one place, with a simple split between the two race locations (Cape Town and Jo’burg) that doesn’t clutter or confuse. A custom Instagram feed pulls live content through via multiple hashtags, allowing this event to live up to its ‘most social 5km run’ brand positioning.

We look forward to the next project phase, which goes beyond creating brand awareness to keeping existing participants engaged and expanding the audience.

Safari Online

Safari Online offers a safari planning service that is rooted in personal experience and first-hand knowledge – providing customers with a seamless itinerary and real value for money. They briefed Kri8it to develop a more engaging, modern website, as well as a new corporate identity for their business.


We constructed the website on the Canvas framework, building an extensive content creation process into the admin area. The result is an online platform that is extremely easy to navigate, with a big mega-menu that provides a clear overview of what is available. This enabled us to include a huge variety of information on destinations, tours and experiences in one seamless user experience.
